Google Dance Ranking's Impact

    What is Google Dance anyway? This is a tool that can be used by SEO firms and web masters for free. In fact, there are sites that offer the Google Dance search query right on their page. Anybody who wants to add the tool on their site or blog can simply copy the link for it.

    Google Dance simply lets you know how active the Google bots or spiders are in indexing sites for a certain keyword. As said by some sources, spiders crawl across pages every 30 days or so. Also, there are three servers of Google, which are denoted by www, www2, and www3 respectively. The first one is the main server, which is where users can make search queries, and the other two are theorized to be test servers.

    You can type in a keyword or key phrase on the Google Dance query, and the tool will provide you with a listing of sites on the three Google servers. Normally, you should see that the order or ranking of the sites are the same for www, www2, and www3.

    If in any way there is a change seen, such as site 6 on www appears as number 7 in www2, then it means that site is currently being indexed. In short, the rankings behave differently across the servers, or seem to “dance.”
